Wonderful house for our family holiday

We had a wonderful stay at Bayview House last week (10-17th October). Finding a house big enough to accommodate our family holiday each year can be tricky with everyone's specifications but Bayview ticked all the boxes. The house itself was very well equipped with plenty of space for everyone. The hot tub, table tennis, pool tool and arcade game were brilliant to have! The location is also perfect with a lot of lovely walks nearby (described in the fab booklet provided by Jules in the house) and plenty of places to visit/things to do within an hours drive. Overall, a brilliant house which we'd highly recommend.

Amazing Stay.

We have just returned from a long weekend stay here to celebrate a 60th birthday. The house was amazing as were the facilities and entertainment. Large screen tv, karaoke, Bluetooth hifi, telescope, games room with full pool table, arcade machine, TV and PlayStation. 2 dishwashers, 2 fridges, a large freezer, hot tub, any kind of kitchen utensil you ask for. The rooms were very nicely decorated, beds were comfortable and most bedrooms had en suite bathrooms. I can honestly say this house has to be the best equipped holiday stay we have ever been to. There's a couple of pubs about 10-15 mins away and a small co op for essentials. Overall I'd give Bay View House a 10 out of 10. Oh and the views towards Morecambe Bay were spectacular. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best House Ever!

We have been coming to Bay View with a large group of friends nearly every winter for a very long time now. The house is absolutely wonderful, with the kitchen-dining room and living room both big enough for everyone to gather together for meals and games. The views across the bay are gorgeous and it's great to walk out the front door and go exploring - the sea and the hills are both on the doorstep. The house itself is well equipped with everything needed to feed and entertain everyone, including every kind of glass that you could possibly want! Soaking in the hot tub on a starry night is bliss. We have young children (currently 4 and 6) and they love the games room and garden, as well as generally roaming the building playing hide and seek. Sincerest thanks to Jules for making this fabulous house available! I hope we can keep coming back for many years to come.

Amazing house, we return every year!

I stay here each year with a group of friends during winter, we've been a number of times over the years because it's so wonderful! The location is amazing - it's easy to walk to Silverdale village and nearby pubs, and strolling down to the cove is a must, particularly to see the amazing sunsets! We walked to Leighton Moss RSPB sanctuary on our most recent visit (Feb 2025) which was amazing. It's also easy to drive to so many great places for a daytrip - you've pretty much got the Lake District on your doorstep! Very handy having Silverdale station so close too, for anyone without a car. The house itself is lovely, always very clean and well looked after, with loads of room. Each time we visit it seems to get better and better in terms of upkeep and new additions. The jacuzzi and the games room are particular highlights! The kitchen is really well equipped and the perfect set up for cooking group meals. The owner, Jules, has always been very responsive and helpful with any queries or issues (one time we visited a thunderstorm unexpectedly caused a power outage in the whole area - and he was brilliant in helping us to ensure we had what we needed!) I can't think of a better place to gather with a group of friends or family. It's become a really special place to me, and I hope to return for many years to come!

Fabulous!!!!

WOW! What a house!! It was beyond perfect for our needs, so clean and very comfortable. Everyone was blown away with the whole place! The views, the hot tub, the gardens……..just amazing! The level to which it is equipped is the best I’ve ever seen in a holiday home, The large bright airy dining kitchen with the huge dining table and stunning views across the bay, this room was perfect for everyone to congregate and eat/drink. And the variety of crockery, glasses, serving dishes and platters, cutlery etc was insane, then the appliances, the two fridges and a wine fridge, large freezer, ovens and extras like an ice machine (brilliant), rice cooker, slow cooker! The whole house is furnished and decorated in an eclectic way, but it works so well. The large living room is fabulous and so comfortable for a big group, those sofas were fantastic! Having the smaller areas like the chess room, the music room and the study allowed those who wanted it some quieter time. And the games room, another fab space with room for lots of the group to gather. The bedrooms, so many of them, and bathrooms too, most being en suite. Yes one of the bedrooms is more suited to a family having a triple bunk bed downstairs from the double room, although we used this for 2 couples and it worked perfectly. The attic is great for younger members……..our group of neices (in their 20’s) had their own private space to chat all night if they wanted to. The huge gardens, with things like badminton nets, space to kick a ball around, the under cover table tennis table, we didn’t have children with us but the area was perfect for those with children. The hot tub……….just sitting out there overlooking the bay was perfect! And such a good sized hot tub too. And if anyone isn’t keen on using an outdoor hot tub when it’s cold outside, the huge jacuzzi bath in the master suite had the same views, but warmer. There’s ample parking for several cars, we had 8 vehicles plus I traveled in our motorhome just to transport everything we needed for the surprise 60th we were celebrating, and we still had room for that! We visited 3 pubs in the village……15-20 mins walk, the Royal, the Low House Tap and the Woodlands. All were extremely friendly and welcoming, and all guessed as we were a larger group we were staying in what they referred to as the ‘party house’ . We had Indian takeaway from Cinnamon Spice in the village on Sunday night, a delicious and easy meal to end our weekend before leaving Monday morning. We visited as a group of 22 adults ranging in age from mid 80’s to mid 20’s to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday, and we honestly had the best weekend. My husband wants to make it an annual event 😂 We would love to revisit again as soon as we can find an excuse to all get together again. Simply amazing 🤩
